Students will learn about the holiday’s history, the meaning of service, and how to show appreciation for veterans through this activity.

This lesson will focus on the leadership and the fight for civil rights in the United States.
VA-008 Appreciating our Veterans (PK-12)
In this session, students will pay homage to Veterans by creating a landscape featuring the American flag.
VA-042 Jean-Michel Basquiat Dinosaurs (3-8)
Inspired by the bold energy of Jean-Michel Basquiat, students will create expressive dinosaur artworks using oil pastels and watercolor.
