Gallery Tours

Acadiana Center for the Arts is home to five museum-quality galleries. Our exhibitions are thoughtfully selected and rotate throughout the year to feature a wide variety of artistic mediums and artists of all career levels.

A field trip to Acadiana Center for the Arts gives students the chance to experience art up close and discover how a community arts center works.

Gallery tours encourage curiosity, spark creativity, and help young people connect what they learn in the classroom to the wider world of culture and community.

Add a Creative Activity to your Tour

Get more out of your visit by adding a Guided Tour and/or a Hands-On Arts Activity*

Admission fees are waived when adding one of the following options:

  • Guided Gallery Tour with education staff
    • $75 for up to 25 students.
  • Hands-On Arts Activity in visual art or creative movement, inspired by the work in the exhibition and led by local teaching artists. This option includes the Guided Gallery Tour.
    • $125 for up to 25 students.

*If you plan on having chaperones join you, we ask that there not be more than one per 10 children.
