TEACHING ARTIST SESSION
Students will be taught the basics of watercolor painting in this workshop. Over the course of a class period, they will experiment with color and shading through painting images of the ocean. This teaches them to experiment with fluidity and line making with the brush. At the end of the workshop, students have a basic understanding of watercolor painting and the freedom that comes with the medium.

Anna Teer is a freelance muralist, animator, and designer based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Since graduating the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she has worked in Lafayette and the surrounding areas. This includes designing and installing window art pieces within local businesses in Lafayette, collaborating and cultivating murals, and contributing to the production of freelance animated films. Her favorite things are making art, telling stories, and giving back to the community.
