Zines are cool, creative handmade publications to express ideas, emotions, and images in a short, accessible form. Students will learn about the history of zines and make their own mini-zine. Students can pick their own zine topics or this class can work with the current curriculum to be about a specific topic. This is a single session, but can also be made into a double session (in the second session, students will get photocopies of their zines to hand out and be able to share zines with the class and critique.)
