Students will apply bilateral symmetry when cutting shapes from folded paper to create an abstract mask. This project can be connected to holiday or cultural themes.

Jan Fontenot is an artist who lives in the Grand Prairie area and also teaches part time at a local high school. She loves to get children involved in all types of art making especially to those who do not have the opportunity or resources to do so.
