Louisiana artist, Clementine Hunter, was a self-taught black folk artist known for artwork depicting plantation life in the early 20th Century. We’ll learn about her as an artist and create our own piece in her famous style.

Jan Fontenot is an artist who lives in the Grand Prairie area and also teaches part time at a local high school. She loves to get children involved in all types of art making especially to those who do not have the opportunity or resources to do so.
